Terms of use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Sangfroid when you use the app. Using Sangfroid means you accept them.
What Sangfroid is
Sangfroid is a self-help tool for men who want to reduce or stop compulsive porn and masturbation use. It offers tracking, exercises, and educational content. It is a support tool, not a medical device.
Not medical advice
Sangfroid does not diagnose any condition and is not a substitute for professional care. Nothing in the app is medical advice. If you are struggling, speak to a doctor or a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, use the crisis resources in the app or contact local emergency services.
Subscription and payment
Sangfroid requires an active subscription to use. There is no free tier. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically until you cancel. You manage or cancel a subscription in your store account, not in the app; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown before you buy.
Content blocking
The optional content-blocking feature adds friction to reaching certain apps and sites. It is a speed bump you set up for yourself, not an unbreakable filter, and it can be turned off in your phone's settings. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use Sangfroid for yourself and not to misuse it. The app is provided as-is and, to the extent the law allows, without warranties. We work to keep it running but cannot guarantee it is always available or error-free.
No account today
Sangfroid currently works without any account and stores your data only on your device. We may later add an optional account with backup or sync; if we do, additional terms may apply and we will make them available before you use that feature.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date above shows the latest version.
